LivingWhen the Bedroom Becomes a Place for Couture

Replace the urge to sound certain with the effort to understand.

Meetings can reward quick answers, even when the problem is not yet clear. A thoughtful question can help the room slow down enough to identify what needs deciding.
Ask what a useful outcome would look like, which assumption is doing the most work or whose perspective is missing. Choose the question that fits the conversation rather than using curiosity as another performance.
Good questions do not remove the need for decisions. They can make the decision clearer, and give people a more honest account of what they know and what remains uncertain.
